Love At First Sight

Well let's start by defining love. Love is a strong positive emotion of regard and affection, any object of affection or devotion or maybe a great liking towards someone. Different people have different belief systems and love at first sight exists for some and does not exist for others. But what is the real fact? Does it really exist or not? Read on to discover-

Well the main answer to this question is no. No matter how much attracted people are to someone at the very first sight giving it the name of love is too early. Love is much more than just visual attraction. When we mention sight it means love at the very moment you see the person. Therefore it is truly based on physical looks and aspect. Love involves more than just the physical aspect.

The term "Love at first sight" is just initial attraction you might have towards any person you might witness and is only for that moment. Therefore this phrase is wrongly used and is confused with a stronger term which is love. Love is more about a person’s feelings and emotions which can never develop unless you have spent enough time with that person or been in long term personal touch.

Sometimes it is just immediate infatuation but the fact is you can never marry a person at that very moment. You have to know the person first on the personal level you need to know whether the person has the same likes or dislikes as you.

The biggest issue is the commitment issue which is forms the foundation of love. How can you assume or judge that the person you have fallen in love on the first sight would be compatible with you emotionally and would be willing to commit fully? You can never find the answer to this question till you spent enough time with that person and get to know him better.

Therefore there is no love at first sight as such and it's just used as a phrase when you have extremely strong attraction towards someone. The only reason why people still use it is because it worked for some people. Some people experienced love at first sight and luckily it worked out for them and they ended up marrying that person. Therefore it's just a rare case but in most cases it does not work that way.
