Avoid Losing a Guy in 10 Days

This article will describe to you the ways to keep a boyfriend for more than 10 days, please note that this will not work in all situations, but generally will.

1.Don't be jealous. Girls, you have to trust your man until he gives you a reason not to. There's nothing more annoying than a jealous girlfriend. He IS allowed to have friends that are girls, like the old saying goes "you can look, but don't touch" same goes for you. There is no need for you to go through his phone, reading all of his text messages or following him wherever he goes. Trust him.

2.Don't whine. Guys cant stand when a girl whines, they find it extremely annoying. There is nothing hot about a whiner.

3.Never talk about an ex. Just like you don't want to hear him talk about his ex girlfriend, never talk about an ex boyfriend.

4.No obsessive calling. Calling him more than twice a day is just ridiculous. Even two times is a lot. Once is definitely enough. Let him call you, it'll make him think of you, and that means he actually wants to talk to you. And don't think that just because he doesn't talk much on the phone sometimes, means he doesn't like you, he could just be BUSY.

5.Never say 'I Love You'. Never say the words "I Love You" until you are absolutely positive you really do love him, and this is NOT something you say in the first days/weeks of the relationship. Wait to say it (not to long but long enough) you don't want to scare them away.

6.Don't plan your future. Do not start talking about your guy's "future together" until you're positive you will actually have a future together... Guys definitely get freaked out by this.

7.Don't jump into sex. Let sex remain a mystery for a little while, first of all you don't want to think you sleep around a lot, tease him instead make him want you even more.

8.Hang out with other people. Don't expect him to spend all of his time with you, he does have friends, and so do you. Make sure you don't keep him from hanging out with his friends, And also make sure you make time for your friends to, or else if you guys break up, your friends will have moved on without you, and you'll be left alone.

9.Never try to change him! If you don't like him for who he is, then peace out.

10.Be friends. Befriend his friends. If your friends with his friends, when you're not around, they'll usually talk good about you to him, which will only make him like you more because if he has the "approval" of his friends, it's a big sense of security.

How To Kick Bad Love Habits After A Break Up

Whether you broke up with someone or were broken up with, many of us have created habits with, and because of, our former partners that need to be broken. Perhaps you're feeling the urge to call them all the time, or maybe you want to 'accidentally' run into them somewhere you know they'll be. These are normal and perfectly acceptable feelings, but now that you're no longer in a relationship, its time to kick these love habits. Now, I'm not suggesting you never long for another person again, or look forward to hearing someone's voice - far from it. But after a break up, with this particular person, at this particular time? Definitely.

Another way to think about it is in terms of your health. If you'd decided that you were eating too much or smoking more than normal, you might in turn decide that your best plan of action is to stop smoking, go on a diet, or have a chat with a medical professional. But that also doesn't mean that you'll never eat or even smoke again. Your behaviors are completely up to you, and you'll decide what behaviors are acceptable when you've kicked your love habits.

The first step in the process of letting go of these love habits after a break up is to look at your triggers - the things that might tempt you to seek contact with your ex again. These could be as innocuous as driving to work and feeling odd not seeing their coffee cup in the holder next to yours, or as obvious as your anniversary date.

Think about the events, places, things, people and dates that you may need a bit of help maneuvering through in the next couple of weeks or months. Does eating alone in a restaurant trigger you after a break up? Coming home to an empty house? Hearing the phone ring?
Once you've got a list of some of your after a break up triggers, your next step is to brainstorm ideas of things and ways to feel good that you can do - instantly - to take your mind off things.

The premise behind this idea is simple: if you are able to distract yourself for an hour, the likelihood that you'll want to succumb to a love trigger after a break up is reduced considerably. As an example, think about the last time you really had to go to the bathroom, but discovered that the closest restroom was quite a distance away. If something else caught your eye while en route to your destination, did you get distracted - even temporarily? Breaking a love habit is a similar concept, but considerably easier because its not a driving 'need', like going to the bathroom is.

Depending on how challenging you've found your after a break up period, you can either print out the ways to feel good list and post it somewhere prominently, or create your own that you can refer to as needed. Make sure that you have things on your list that you find truly engrossing, fun, or even distracting, that you know you can do easily and without too much fanfare. Then, whenever you are compelled to contact your ex or see them, force yourself to do something on your list for at least an hour.

Each time you postpone your interest in your ex after a break up - especially if you choose another activity that you find compelling - your love habit will slowly erode away from being a driving force in your life. And since your love habit isn't a physiological response (like urinating), the need won't come back any stronger after you've postponed it.

You may also find that after a break up, you may still need more incentive to break your bad love habits. If you find yourself still longing for your ex even after you've postponed the thoughts for an hour, try providing yourself with a small but measurable reward for each hour you invest elsewhere. A piece of chocolate, perhaps? One dollar towards a purchase you've been saving up for? Whatever you decide, be consistent in your positive reward efforts.

Please note: for those of you unable to come up with any ideas that make you feel good, I strongly urge you to speak with a medical professional about the possibility of depression, as the decreased pleasure in things you otherwise truly enjoy can be a symptom of this disease. For more urgent assistance, such as feeling the need to do harm to yourself or your ex, please contact the crisis center in your area.

The Unpleasant Truth of Marriage

How well do you communicate with your spouse? Find out how to handle the hard talks.
How do you communicate unpleasant truths to your spouse? How do you tell him something that will make him squirm? Easy and effortless communication is one of the hallmarks of healthy relationships, but sometimes there are things you need to share with your spouse that are not easy to communicate.

Oprah & Friends Radio host Rabbi Shmuley discusses the three difficult truths that arise in marriage:
  • Something your spouse has control over and constitutes bad behavior; for example, you are married to someone who has a bad temper or is cheap.
  • Something your spouse has some control over but does not constitute a moral offense, such as being overweight, having bad breath or snoring.
  • Something your spouse has no control over and is simply a part of her you find distasteful. For example, she has a birthmark, large feet, small breasts or something else you find unattractive.

Solutions to address these painful truths in marriage:

  • For those offenses over which your spouse has control, such as having a bad temper, it's important to set aside time to have a serious conversation and talk with him about his problem. Don't criticize his character, instead criticize his behavior, Rabbi Shmuley says.
  • For those offenses over which your spouse has some control, Rabbi Shmuley says to do the exact opposite. Do not have a serious conversation with her, rather it should be a light conversation in a light moment, he says. Let her draw the conclusion to what you are saying instead of you being the accuser.
  • For those things over which your spouse has no control, like his big feet, it's important to learn to love them. You can always find an erotic quality in something that you think you don't like, Rabbi Shmuley says.

Tips to Plan a Wedding Abroad

A normal wedding can be tricky to plan, but what about a wedding abroad? Planning a destination wedding has several different requirements, in addition to the typical domestic wedding anxieties. You may dream of having an exotic wedding in the tropics or a fairytale wedding in a historic French castle. Having a destination wedding can provide memories that can last an entire lifetime. In the end, it takes a little more careful planning in order to properly execute the ideal wedding overseas.

Step1--Select a wedding destination. Consider various factors, such as exchange rate and climate. Research various sources, from online wedding sites to travel books.
Step2--Choose a specialist destination wedding planner, tour operator or travel agent. Outsourcing destination wedding plans to a professional can be a huge relief to the bride and groom, especially when dealing with unknown territory.
Step3--Contact the Consulate or Foreign Embassy. Confirm the legal and residential requirements to get married in the country of your preference. If you have hired a specialist, discuss if this is her responsibility.
Step4--Make sure that you have the proper documentation needed. See if you have passports and any other needed identification ready for use.
Step5--Select a wedding date. Take into account the time frame and the steps that are required in order to ensure that the wedding can occur. Research climate and try to avoid a busy tourist season. If you plan on having your wedding at a resort, be sure to avoid an onslaught of guests that could potentially be stuck in the background of your wedding shots. Also, find out if your wedding will be the only wedding that will occur. After all, you may not want to be competing against several other brides for scenic space.
Step6--Create a budget. When budgeting typical wedding needs, such as the venue and catering, also consider the exchange rate and how it will impact your wallet.
Step7--Find dependable wedding suppliers within the area. Look for dependable service when seeking wedding suppliers, such as florists and caterers.
Step8--Decide whether you would like to stay in the same hotel as your guests. Decide if the wedding planner should book their rooms or if they should book it themselves. Also find out if you can get a group rate.
Step9--Plan transportation for the wedding guests. Research which airlines arrive to your wedding abroad. Find out if airlines offer discounts for group booking. Figure out how your guests will be transported from the airport to their hotel.
Step10--Send out invitations early. Send out the invites at least eight months in advance, especially if you plan to have a number of guests.
Step11--Do research on the local customs. You may want to even incorporate some wedding customs into your overall theme. For example, in Italy, many couples will have a traditional Italian wedding cake.
Step12--Arrive to your wedding destination early. Make sure that plans go smoothly and all the needed paperwork is completed.

Improving a loving relationship using Feng Shui Tips

Even the best relationships can become a little stale over time. One day lovers wake up and realize the spark died down somewhere along the way. Maybe there is not enough passion or intimacy, or maybe the relationship just feels routine after all these years. The Chinese believe that there is more at work in this situation than just length of the relationship. They teach that there are eight areas our lives, each of which is affected by our environment. The art of promoting the flow of positive energy into every aspect of life is called Feng Shui. For couples that have lost the spice in their love lives, some redecorating with the help of this ancient art promises to improve the relationship.

The Bagua Wheel

In Feng Shui, a tool called the Bagua Wheel (ba =eight, gua = area) is used to locate the eight areas of life. For example, the Chien gua is for travel and helpful friends, the Kan gua is for social contacts, and the Kun gua is for relationships. Each section is associated with different colors and elements, which can be incorporated into the area to attract certain types of chi or energy. If these things are lacking, in the Kun gua for instance, it is believed that a person’s relationships will suffer. However, lovers can make an effort to add colors like pink, red, and white into the Kun gua of their home, along with including earth and fire elements. This will fill their home with “love chi,” thus improving their relationship.

All of these concepts seem a bit strange to the western world, which sees home decor simply as a means of pleasing the eyes. More importantly, many people think it is far too complicated to rearrange everything, especially at the suggestion of some mystical Chinese interior decorator. For the skeptical, let me point out that there is a practical side to Feng Shui. You can simplify the concept down to setting aside places in your home, each with their own distinct purpose. For example, the back right corner of the home is the love corner, and this is an ideal place to put your master bedroom. In the room where all the magic happens (or does not, if you are reading this), the back right corner from the door is also the love corner. This is where you should focus your redesigning energies, which makes sense considering that the bedroom is a couple’s sanctuary.

Start by analyzing the mood of the bedroom. If it is part sleeping place, part workout room, and part TV room, you are missing the point. Even those not associated with Feng Shui agree that the bedroom if for two things: sleeping and intimacy. If you watch the late show in bed or work on the computer here, you are drawing the wrong kinds of chi into the space. That is not to say that you cannot have these items, but you should give everything its own space so that one type of energy will not inhibit another. No relationship will prosper if it has the energy of work or casual entertainment instead of passion. Along these same lines, your bedroom is not the place to have pictures of your mom and dad, the kids, or anything else that squelches a romantic mood. Decorate with pictures of the two of you or paired animals or flowers. Anything that emulates happy life-long couples should have a home in your bedroom.

Beyond this, think of creative ways to incorporate the colors and elements of the Kun gua into the room. Although men may object initially, red, pink, and white are the colors of love. Even if you think Feng Shui is a load of nonsense, you are sure to feel romantic surrounded by these distinctly Valentine’s Day colors. Hearts have the same meaning to the Chinese as western cultures: love. Whether you choose heart-shaped pillows, picture frames, or candles, they are sure to dray love chi. Another perk of candles is that they bring the fire element into the space, a symbol of passionate desire. Set them up in the southwest corner of your bedroom, along with other items that symbolize your love, and wait your the relationship to ignite.

Certain items have special significance in Feng Shui. For instance, a wooden headboard symbolizes support in the relationship and incorporates the earth element. Anything that reflects light into the room is considered a pathway for chi, but rose quartz is the stone of lovers. Speaking of reflecting, keep mirrors out of the room. Some say that this creates a third party in the relationship, either in the form of a lover, a jealous friend, or a disapproving family member. Others believe that the soul gets up and strolls around the night, creepy as the thought is. They say that if it sees its reflection it will become frightened, and that could cause you to have bad sleep. Either way, you would do your love chi more good by covering or removing mirrors.

It is considered bad chi to point the foot of your bed at the door, as it is associated with being carried out by your feet. Instead, try placing the bed indirectly across from the door --but not under a window -- so that neither side faces the wall. Finally, prepare the space for romance, laying out amorous items in case they are needed. Pull out your finest red silk sheets, bon bons, and massage oil so that you and your partner will both feel that going to bed every night is a special occasion.

To the cynic, Feng Shui may sound like nothing more than superstition. However, both its enduring popularity and its practicality make it hard to be doubtful. It makes perfect sense, after all, that people will be happier living in a well-arranged environment. Feng Shui experts have made a study of design for thousands of years, paying attention to which layouts promote harmony in life. Even if they do not know more than the rest of us about love, they probably cannot know much less. If nothing else, the efforts you make to revive your love life will inspire your partner to do the same.
